Community Events
and Partnerships Policy

True Vine Brewing Company exists to serve people, cultivate community, and create meaningful gathering spaces. Since our earliest days, we have hosted many community events, often at no cost, because we believe shared experiences matter and strong communities are built when people gather around the table.

As our business has grown, we have learned that generosity must be sustainable in order to remain joyful, healthy, and long lasting. Hosting events carries real operational costs, including staffing, setup, cleanup, utilities, equipment usage, wear on our facilities, and opportunity cost for our business. To steward these resources well and to care for our team, we have adopted a more intentional and structured approach to hosting outside events.

This policy exists to help us continue serving our community with clarity, fairness, and sustainability.

Scope of This Policy

For the purposes of this policy, outside events refer to events organized by external organizations, nonprofits, brands, or individuals that are not owned or operated by True Vine Brewing Company.

All event requests must be submitted through our standard event inquiry process. Frontline staff are not authorized to approve or negotiate event arrangements. All decisions regarding event partnerships are reviewed and approved by the True Vine leadership team.

Past events or previous arrangements do not guarantee future availability, pricing, or partnership status. All requests are evaluated based on current capacity, alignment, and business needs.

Partnership Paths

True Vine now approaches outside events through defined partnership paths rather than informal or open ended arrangements. Organizations interested in hosting an event at our venue will fall into one of the following categories.

1. Standard Venue Rentals

Some events are best served through a standard venue rental. This option is intended for organizations with budgets, sponsors, ticketed events, or fundraising goals.

Venue fees help cover the real costs of hosting an event and support our ability to continue offering community gathering space long term. Fees are determined based on event size, duration, staffing needs, and use of the space.

2. In Kind Partnerships

In certain cases, True Vine may participate as an in kind sponsor in place of a full venue rental. In kind sponsorships are considered formal partnerships where value is exchanged on both sides.

This typically includes defined promotional recognition such as logo placement, verbal acknowledgment during the event, social media mentions, or inclusion in event communications. All in kind partnerships must include clear, agreed upon deliverables so expectations are shared, documented, and respected.

3. Community Partnership Grants (Limited Availability)

Each year, True Vine reserves a limited number of no fee events through what we consider Community Partnership Grants. These opportunities are offered intentionally to causes that align deeply with our mission, values, and capacity at that time.

Community Partnership Grants are limited in number, reviewed carefully by the leadership team, non recurring by default, and not guaranteed year over year.

While venue fees may be waived, Community Partnership Grants may still include limitations related to timing, space usage, staffing support, or beverage minimums in order to ensure a successful and sustainable event experience.

Our Commitment

Our commitment is to treat every organization with respect, communicate expectations clearly, and steward our space, staff, and resources responsibly. This approach also ensures our team is properly staffed, supported, and compensated for the work required to host successful events.

While we value every request, not all events will be a fit. Declining an event does not reflect a lack of care for an organization or its mission, but rather our responsibility to operate with excellence, integrity, and long term sustainability.

Our goal is not to say no to community involvement, but to say yes in a way that allows us to continue showing up consistently, generously, and well.
