Can your friend pick up your packet?
Yes! Have them send you a photo of their drivers license. ID checks are required for all participants. You and your friends.
You can also pick up your packet the morning of the race Saturday, October, 22nd at our On The Square taproom ONLY, packets will NOT be available for pick up the morning of the race at our beloved Earl Campbell location.
What's in your packet?
Once you show us your ID and we verify that you are 21+ and are who you say you are...your packet will include your bib, bib pins, and materials from our race sponsors. AFTER the race, you'll be able to redeem your race bib for a pint of True Vine beer in your commemorative Beer Run 2022 glass (included with registration)!
IMPORTANT!!! YOUR BIB is your ENTRY to the run, the after party and your TICKET for one post run beer in a glass that is yours to keep. Again, If you do not have your bib at the starting line, along the race route and all the way to the bar on race day, you will miss out on all the post run goodies and we definitely don't want that!
starting location & parking
The day will start at our On The Square Taproom & Wine Bar location located on the downtown square at 110 South College Ave Suite 102. Note: This race begins at our downtown location in downtown Tyler. NOT our main production facility on Earl Campbell Parkway.
Free parking is available in the West lots of the Plaza Tower / People's Petroleum Building. Parking is also available at the Fair Plaza Parking Garage on S College Ave until 9:30 AM. At 9:30 AM the garage will be closed to prepare safe passage for runners along that road. West of the Plaza Tower / People's Petroleum Building parking will be available and throughout the day, so that is a great and close option for all. The map below highlights the recommended lots. Parking is NOT available on the square and will be closed off for BEER RUN. Map below.
Ok so we know what you're thinking. "How are we going to get back to our car?" No worries, friends! Our amazing transportation sponsor, Pony Ryde locally owned ride share will be shuttling everyone safely back to the square in their eco friendly and dog friendly busses. More details on that below. beer run schedule
9:00 AM
Doors to our location open to our On The Square Taproom & Wine Bar.
"Day of" packet pickup will be from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Packets will NOT be available for pick up the morning of the race at Earl Campbell location.
We will have limited restrooms / port-a-potties available on the square so please plan accordingly. There aren't any pot-a-potties along the course.
Our wonderful neighbors Cafe 1948 will have coffee available to fuel your run. Heck, you can buy a beer (or 2) at True Vine On The Square that morning if you want to take BEER RUN to a whole 'nother level.
9:45 AM
Be Free Yoga will be joining us for a pre-run stretch. Don't pull a hammy!
10:00 AM
BEER RUN 2021! Are you ready for this?! Run, walk, hop skip or roll your way along the 2021 route towards our mother ship. We will have crossing guards and sponsors at all key turns and intersections but please watch out for each other and be safe.

True Vine Earl Campbell Tap Room & Beer Garden will be open! Friends & Family are welcome to come enjoy beers, wine, beer-mosas as well as coffee, breakfast goodies and more from our friends, Sola Bread!
Finish line is ready for you! Run hard or not at all, we will be awaiting your arrival. You did it! You will proceed into our tap room for your True Vine beer of choice and Beer Run '22 glassware courtesy! Feel free to hang out a while! Grab another beer, wine, pastry and more.
DJ Mr G will be spinning tunes for all to enjoy! Give this guy some love!
11:00 AM
Shuttles from Earl Campbell back to our On The Square location will begin at 11:00 AM courtesy of Pony Ryde, a locally owned shared ride company and amazing sponsor! Once a shuttle is full, it will depart for the square, return to Earl Campbell and repeat until 1:00 PM, enough time for you to enjoy the after party and post run beer (or 3)! After all, you earned it!

Award ceremony! Best dressed? First place? We have awards for some fun categories. After party continues!

After party concludes and last shuttles depart back to the square. Make sure you plan wisely! We don't want to leave anyone behind! If you want to hang out and hitch a ride from a friend or shared ride, no problem at all. Hang all day if you want! We close at 11:00 PM on Saturdays! :)
What to bring to beer run?
YOUR BIB!
